Souq
Motors is eliminating Listing Fees on the first
three vehicles you list in a 12 month period. For a car
or truck, this amounts to an upfront savings of 50
Dhms
per listing compared with the old pricing plan.
Starting with the forth vehicle you list, the Insertion
Fee is 50 Dhms.
After 12 months, the counter resets and
you get another three vehicle listings with zero
Insertion Fees.
Only pay if you sell successfully
A successful listing is defined as any one of the following:
- The listing ends with a bid greater than reserve
- A bid is placed on a no reserve auction listing
- A buyer clicks and confirms the Buy-it-Now button
- The seller accepts a submitted Best Offer
When one of these events occurs, SouqMotors will charge the seller a Successful Listing Fee. In short, we only succeed when you succeed.

All Vehicles and Transaction Formats Included
With
the first three listings, Insertion Fees will be zero for
all types of vehicles. Starting with the forth vehicle
listing, Insertion Fees are significantly reduced from
the old pricing plan and vary with the type of vehicle.
As mentioned above, Successful Listing Fees the
Successful Listing Fee is 2% as per SouqMotors Fee Structure
The New fee structure applies whether the seller uses an
Auction-style, BuyNow with Best Offer, or Classifieds
format.

Why We're Changing Our Prices
Extensive tests earlier this year showed
sellers greatly prefer this fee structure. And they
proved it by listing more vehicles. Clearly, a more
active market means more buyers and more successful
listings.
Bottom line? No mandatory fees on your
first four listings unless they're successful.
What's excluded
Listings in SouqMotors Accessories,
Parts, Number Plates, Bicycles, Bicycle Accessories categories are excluded from this structure and the old
structure is still applicable and no listing fee is
charged on all those categories.
Listings started before
Feb 1, 2009 do not qualify for new pricing
structure. Listings started before February 1, 2009 and
revised after February 1, 2009 do not qualify for the
new pricing structure.
